Bought the materials to complete a power steering/hydroboost flush and a differential service (fluid and gasket). Also going to clear my wife's headlights by sanding, polishing, and clearcoating. Going to be a fun weekend!

Hey, When doing the headlights, which clearcoat are you going to use?

I'm just going to use regular Valspar spray paint clear coat. The lights are in rough shape and I'm not worried about it not lasting. The car is nearly 13 years old (Pontiac Bonneville). I'll post before and after pics on Saturday.

Today I took the rear brakes and rotors off to adjust the parking brakes. And **** one pad fell off the retainer ring. So off tot he store for a new set of pads. $48. Hour and 15 minutes total for wheels down to wheels down. The peddle used to go to the floor. Now the brake engages before the good latch. I am happy.

Cleaned every nook and cranny with sand everywhere. Finally the found the cause of a rattling in the dash and fixed it. Remounted the stock(******) jack/tools and air compressor in the back compartment.

Took the beast to the Drive-In for the first time

Glad the battery didn't poop out on me with the radio on for both movies

The rattling noise was my fault, when i removed the onstar on the dash i left the plug hanging in the dash unsecured which caused it to bang into everything. i just used some mounting tape to secure it. I also made the glove compartment latch a little more sturdy, because that moved around a bit too.

Just put some brand new 285/45/22s on the Tahoe. Got a 8" piece of thick wire went threw the top and out the sidewall of one tire. So just went ahead and got 4 new ones for a hell of a deal
