I put the 5100's on my truck just a month or two ago, in prep for a lift in the future, and because I wanted something to stiffen it up a bit. It was a little harsh for a while, but I like stiffer shocks, especially in such a heavy vehicle. Then I changed wheels and tires, and now it rides totally different. It's smooth and soft as can be, but feels stiff enough that it doesnt wander on the road.

I'm hoping that since I'm starting with the Z71 springs, it won't be hard for me to do most of the other stuff, although I may end up keeping the rake for when I haul/tow, so the car doesn't point skyward.

Thanks for the info!

I'm at 41.5 in the front and about 42.5-42.75 in the rear, I couldn't ask for a better fit for it. I don't currently tow at all due to the fact that my truck didn't come with a hitch, but I am getting a class iv hitch soon and adding the Wilco "Hitchgate" and putting a fullsize spare up in the rear. I've just been borrowing a buddies truck to do any towing.

It snowed then freezing rain was added on top today, and although the Denali will handle it fine I'm staying home since nobody around here knows how to drive in this. My Alaskan Husky loves it.

Technically didn't "do" anything as far as upgrade or repair, just added the original factory flares and mud flaps for winter mode. while others swap 24s and 26's for winter mode I'll stick with my baby 18s for now

I do have the small pieces that go on the rear doors but didn't want to keep taking them off and putting them back on as those are only held on by tape. small detail that nobody really notices , well till now since I just told on myself lol
