I did an almost complete 4x4 delete yesterday. Minus the transfer case.

Also had to replace the passenger wheel hub assembly since the cv axle hub nut wasn't holding the trashed on together anymore. Still went with a 4x4 assembly in case I decide to go back to it.

Got a few things done today.
Did the plug wires with the fiberglass boots. Wasn't too bad. And the fit was nice.IMAG1671.jpg

Then I installed those anti theft plates. Wasn't really hard, but man! What a pita! If you guys do this, make sure you wear some gloves. The metal, all of it, is pretty sharp inside the door.

I also finally installed the bounce/bump stops in the rear. Much shorter than the stockers, but I'm taking your word for it @Red Rocket :DGot a lot done today, but I didn't get a chance to install that little cubby behind the center console.

Let's not.
Let's
I'm only asking because I'm looking on eBay and all I can find that ship to me are $40 and then another $40 in shipping.
I'm seeing what others cost is, I see most people buy signal housings for $30 shipped and I can only find $80 shipped for basic lights. It never use to be this bad till I moved back. Not sure what changed but almost every company does not ship to Alaska. I'll pull up pages and pages and maybe one listing ships to AK.
Don't get me started on tail lights and headlight packages...$200+
It's pretty frustrating.

Know anyone in the states? How about if you have it shipped to them, then they ship it to you? I've never shipped to Alaska before, but it can't be as expensive as these companies charge us. A lot of the companies like to make some extra $$ on shipping.

If you ever hit those bump stops, you'd better stop and check your shorts 'cause you've just launched your Tahoe and landed HARD! Or if you lower it, in which case you need to do the free travel mod and put even smaller ones in, bolted directly to the frame.
