Looks like you just pop the tip and oil will flow out, no mess. Replaces the factory drain plug.
I bought a similar one; mine came with a hose with quick connect. Just unscrew the dust cap with your fingers and screw on the quick connect and the oil drains through the hose into a container. No mess or tools.
Edit: just remembered it's a Femco; https://www.femcodrainplug.com/

Yeah thanks for the kind words y'all haha. That actually happened over the summer, it's nice and scarred up now! A lifelong reminder to be a little more careful with things.

Well the neighbors are gonna love me when I come home late!3e7f6497607e873dac70f0a6676433e2.jpg

Sent from the *******, mid-push.
Nice! I had an E-Cutout from QTP back in the day on an 04 F-150. It was awesome for about 2 months, then all of a sudden it quit working. I crawled under the truck to see wtf and the entire motor that controls the butterfly flap had just fallen off. I'm not sure if yours is setup to automatically stop when it's all the way open or closed, but mine wasn't, so I'm sure the over-torquing didn't help.

I upgraded my HIDs in my Denali projectors to 9011 HIR (halogen) bulbs, and took some comparison photos of several 9005 bulbs vs. the cheap HIDs.
At least I only spent $30 on that experiment.

Got some amber only LEDs for the turn signals because the switch backs cause glare, and a second set of 9011 HIRs to replace the ones I stole from the high beams.

Forgot to post a couple of days ago, that I took out the 3rd row seat, chucked it in the basement, moved the dual 12" sub box in their place (so the port can fire directly in between the rear captains, and then used a ratchet strap to tie it down to the front 3rd row seat anchors.

Sounds even better now, and I think I made the truck a few pounds lighter at the same time.
Damn that 3rd row seat is heavy.
