Bought esky applique caps for $125. They are in decent shape and nice paint so I thought its a good price compared to the ugly factory caps.

Anzo smoked LED tail lights. I got them for $60 BNIB... couldn't say no to that price although I hate the little bulge and red reflectors on the bottom. The guy got them brand new from insurance when someone backed into his truck but sold the truck with OEMs

I have a dilemma if I should do the Esky rear window/brake light mod. The same guy with appliques has a black hatch so it would look nice on my truck. Only $200 too. I'm most likely just going to do it... thoughts? In the future I'm thinking of going with the red spyder leds with white reverse on bottom

CK805s are pitting and pealing. Just going to run them as is for now as tires are near new maybe strip and plastidip later

Bought some meguiars ultimate compound this weekend and decided to use it today. Washed it, then used the compound (which I think worked very well, then polished then waxed. By time I was done it was too dark to see on the camera. Took me about 4 hours to do all that, the longest I've spent on detailing my truck, can't wait to see what it looks like in the sun tomorrow. I do have some before and afters of the compound because it was light enough

Nice work. Love that Ultimate Compound. Did you clay first or just straight to compound?

I didn't do the clay bar because advance auto didn't have it and I didn't want to wait 4 days for the bar and today is the only day I had time. One weekend in a month or so when I have nothing to do I'm going to get everything for a full detail, clay bar, better polish that's not from the 1990s, and a carnuba based wax instead of the speed wax I have which I bought for my wheels.

Got the box for my under seat sub today. The cut out is exactly what sundown specified but it's slightly too small. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have it shaved and installed.

After using the rca outputs to the base amp, I got rid of the static but I'm not happy. Now when I push the volume it distorts so easily. Going to run speaker wire from the head unit to the speakers and just use the internal amp, this bypassing the crappy bose.

Cool man. Well the work you did with that compound sure looks good on that blue.

Just keep maintaining until you can get some clay on it and the spray wax after washings sure helps keep it slick. Stuff you probably already know. Just putting .02 :)
