Mine did too. But there's holes in both the cover and column. Would like to add them if possible.Mine just snaps together, no screws.

Just check the plug to see if it's the same. Should be good to go.Ok guys woke up this morning and battery DEAD! Of course on my 2 year old twin daughters cardiology appt day. So go get a battery and of course leaving and notice surging and rpm bouncing at idle. Guess what says the alternator regulator is bad. So I go in and the 145 amp new alt is cheaper by 10 bucks than the standard. So I'm just checking that this is just a replace and it works thing? No upgrading for the alt to work.
Ps I'm looking at putting a 2k inverter in for future camping and long trips

Also make sure the pulleys are the same size. If not you'll need a bigger belt.Just check the plug to see if it's the same. Should be good to go.
I did the seat mod on my XL today, except mine doesn't go down as far as everyone elses. It definitely goes down further than it did, but not all the way.
It was also not a quick mod like I had imagined. Took a good hour to cut the spring, tube, and nut off.
That's so cute.Took some pictures with my buddy and his 89 Sierra. He took a video of me off roading and shared it with me, but it's taking a while out in the boonies, so I'll share it later.
