I couldn't find accuracy on the Slime one. From my unscientific test, both my Longacre and Slime one read the same.i like my longacre, got it last year. but i didnt opt for liquid filled.
i liked it better than the other cheaper versions... b/c the cheap ones have a +/-4# allowance
the LA has accuracy of 2% & reads in 1/2# increments. think it was a deluxe model for about 35
I have 2 of the liquid filled Slime gauges, and both have a bleeder valve on it.I couldn't find accuracy on the Slime one. From my unscientific test, both my Longacre and Slime one read the same.
I will say, I wouldn't trust the Slime liquid filled gauge. There wasn't a bleeder for it, so I don't think it will be accurate if it is super cold or super hot out.
Air bleeder or bleeder for the gauge?I have 2 of the liquid filled Slime gauges, and both have a bleeder valve on it.
Those headlights are sweet!!!
OK, gotcha. I thought you were talking about the bleeder valves to let air out of the tires.Air bleeder or bleeder for the gauge?
I know they can bleed air from the tires. I'm talking about a bleed valve on the gauge itself so the fluid can equalize to atmospheric pressure. My Longacre has that, and all the replacement heads still have that. Without it, they say that the reading can be off since the can be more/less pressure in the gauge than the environment it is in.
See the knob on the top of the gauge, not the bleed valve on the neck.
Ok...I said I wasn't going to mod my Tahoe but I gotta find out if they make a version for mine. What company makes them?
