Swapped to the 22's today. Gotta get used to them again. View attachment 201706 Now I gotta figure out why when my ac is on high, it vibrates. I feel it through the gas pedal and steering wheel.

How did you “fix the dip”. I have a few spots for touch up on my bumpers and grille.

I use a brand new razor blade, and with the end(corner)I cut around the damaged area, pull it off, then respray dip. Just keep putting coats on. Not 100% but it beats peeling it all off just for 1 spot. Lmk how you make out.

Dropped the trans pan replaced the filter & gasket along with a new pan and bolts and wired in the improved blower motor resistor all GM parts were used

So when people talk about dye. Are they meaning the spray paint like SEM. OR is it something different? I was at the local upholstery shop picking up some material to do my head liner and was talking to him about. It. He gave me a card of a guy that dye's interior and I guess he is really good at it. I need to call because I'm curious to see what the cost would be.

I would think the spray type. It's all about the prep--for adhesion. You could use the best dye, but if you don't prep it right, it's just gonna flake off. In the pic you posted I'd have to guess they used the spray type dye.

That's what I was thinking too. I just spent like 3 hours in the back yard with the power washer on all of my stuff in sprayed it all down with a good Degreaser and on the parts that had the stock rubberized crap paint on it and I was able to blow it all off so the dash I'm going to put in it I don't have to worry about painting it black now because the pressure washer took all of the paint off of it I got lucky.
