Today (yesterday actually) finally got my replacement wheel back on the truck. Amazing what a small curb can do to a wheel. Originally had chrome, sandblasted then powdercoated. Only wheel I could find was powdercoated spokes and polished lip. Various pics to get it back to where I needed it. Had to strip powdercoat, sandblast and then send to my guy for powdercoat. It's the top wheel in photo with my son. Turned out pretty close. ....And the old wheel will be a shop clock. Just gotta spin it on the lathe and cut her in half . 20180714_142739.jpg 20180720_154933.jpg 20180722_145150.jpg 20180727_141218.jpg 20180804_113255.jpg

I remember a while back when you posted it for sale. I have tan interior and I would love one of those. But I have a Suburban, not a Tahoe. I remember reading that they are indeed different widths because of where they clip on to. I see your slots are in the C-pillar trim. On a Burban they are farther back, under those long side windows, so it makes sense why the Burban cargo covers are a few inches wider.
I have a tan sububan one I would let go make me a reasonable offer it's yours. You pay shipping. I'm in NC.
Holy crap that's awesome. Never seen that I'm gonna need two chaperone ones since I have twin 3 year old girls.

Came home from work and the truck told me the engine coolant was hot. I popped the hood and looked at the reservoir and said... hmmmm what coolant.

Dumped a whole gallon of yucky orange stuff.

I dont know a whole lot of this DeX cool but I hear it's bad for the engines and what not. Is it possible to flush that stuff out and put in better coolant? Or just flush what's left of the old coolant and just put new dexcool in it

I've never had an issue with dexcool. What year is your truck?

There were issues early on with it but that was the 90's I think. I've had no issues with it in my 00 burb and it's got 260k miles. Only cooling related things I've done have been a water pump and 2 radiators

I'm in the middle of installing my replacement seat cover. It is not going as smoothly as I expected. I'm gonna take a break and have dinner before I end up screwing the damn thing in place....

Dexcool got a bad name when it first came out it caused problems in some of the GM cars along with people not changing it out when it was recommended, it was reformulated at one point, you can switch to green coolant if you’d like to but you need to get every last drop out. I’ve got Dex in my Escalade, Silverado and previous Tahoe and never had an issue, always changed it out when it should be.
