Are you trying to catch me or pass me???

My 08 Burb is almost at 214k.
We only put about 10k a year on it so we may never pass you lol but I do hope it continues along its good path.

Well as I am preparing for another deployment, it was time to clean and detail the Tahoe so I didn't need to worry while I was going.

So washed it, then 2 layers of wax and sealant. Guy at the local Chemical guys was amazing with the information on what all would last in the Vegas sun

Got to love the Black Metallic paint when its good and clean

Also discovered the second crack in the dash on the passenger side. Really piss's me off as the truck only has 55K miles and has spent 90% of its life in a garage. Hopefully GM decides to fix them. (not going to hold my breath)

changed my evap solenoid. p0449 code, hated that I couldn't remote start with check engine light on. I learned you have to physically reset the code. The bcm doesn't find it on initial start up
Getting ready to do the exact same thing on mine. Have the part in my garage. How long did it take you to do? You have to drop the spare to do it, right?

Maybe 20 mins to change. Idk about the spare since i dont have one haha. The hardest part was getting the tube up by the gas cap.

got this last night :(..it went away though so I'm not sure what to make of it. I've been fortunate and have had zero issues with the tahoe so far so I guess I can't really complain. This might be the time to start thinking about lowering it. Is it possible to do with autoride without getting a code?

Lots of options for lowering with auto ride. You can even keep the auto leveling function in the rear if you choose. Check out my build thread for some info...

I kept the auto leveling system in the back with my 4/6 kit in case I load the truck down with people, luggage, and a trailer.

No service suspension lights on dash... rides great.
