nice was that in drive or did you manual some of that?
That was in drive after flashing a new trans cal... The 2-3 shift was hanging so I lost a lot of time there. Couldn't hook worth a damn either so I didn't get my 11 second run in. I literally spun all 4 tires through the 1/8th mile. The amount of rubber on the drivers front fender liner was kinda crazy. It was picking up the front end causing them to spin like crazy.

Lol, that's friggin awesome!! I bet that guy was pissed--an overweight suv beat him! Love it, keep 'em coming.
I'm happy but not happy lol... I was hoping to run a 10.90 to 11.20 but couldn't get traction if my life depended on it. I need to add limit straps for the front end and stiffen up the rear shocks. Adjustable rebound front shocks/coil overs would help a ton. I see 10s in my future for sure :)

Here's one I recorded with a Dragy GPS Performance meter... For those wondering, it was accurate within .02 seconds on this run in the qtr mile. Not too bad for $140 GPS meter

would stiffer sway bars help also? I am under impression that they help prevent body movement forward and backwards in addition to side to side

I have the thickest sway bars you can get on these trucks but generally no, those only help in corners... That's why they make sway bar disconnects and most drag guys don't use them at all. To an extent they might help with twist in the rear but not in my situation. The front tires are coming off the ground, I need to limit the suspension travel up front and stiffen up the rebound and stiffen the compression in the rear. It doesn't help that I'm lowered and have not done the free travel mod. I'm running a spacer in my rear right now so my springs are pretty much compressed/bound up and I'm hitting the bump stops. Bags inside the springs would help though. I have them just haven't had to time install them and plan to when I swap my rear springs out. Will probably add adjustable shocks at that time.
