My Burb is going on 11yo and just rolled 226k miles... and still purring like a kitten.

iv'e had 2 of those a 79 & 80
the 79 came with 6.6l old's 455 & turbo 400
the 80 had a standard chevy 350 & turbo 400 w/shift kit
80 is when they added the dumb epa smog crap CEL

And they were both slow, weren't they

eh maybe by today's standards but the shift kit sure would kick down pretty sweet when needed and that would still take most by surprise today.

Drove it 750 miles from Detroit to Greenville, SC... Preformed flawlessly, averaged about 18 mpg.
