Tinted tail lights make me nervous. I removed the stick on tint the PO had on mine. I always think about some clever lawyer using it against me if I get rear-ended.
Most states have laws against tinting headlights/taillights. I have been pulled over quite a few times with my non GM car but cops are really surprised when they see a middle aged bald guy driving with a clean record. They usually give me a verbal warning.

What did you tint the tail lights with?

I bought them tinted. Looks to be a pretty good quality spray on tint. Not super dark, but dark enough to tone down the bright red. Lit bulbs only look marginally different.

The red interior lights remind me of "RED ALERT" on Star Trek. Like the tinted tails better. Did you DIY, or just replace them with tinted ones?

I like using the dome lights, but I didn't like the bright white LEDs I had that let everyone see me at night. I have a separate white light I can turn on in the hatch area if I really need to see something better.

What was they're suggestions/ideas?

Well I asked him about "hi-flow" cats and he just kinda laughed and said they are all hi flow cats.

He said that some of the older hi flow cats just had the middle knocked out so to speak and didn't really do much of anything from a catalyst stand point.

He said we could knock them out but suggested we just cut them out and replace with pipe and for me to keep them in case I ever wanted to go back to stock.

He also said he wasn't sure how much of an increase in power it would make if any and that I would need to get the downstream O2 sensors turned off in the tune.... which I already knew.

I am still undecided at this point. I like the idea of giving the shorties the best possible chance of making more power by having no restrictions right after them BUT I also don't want to lose too much back pressure and possibly lose some TQ.

Still debating.

No such thing as needing back pressure.

Do one thing at a time and measure for performance! It's hard to resist but you gotta do it!
