Hmm, something's not right.

I'd have to think that plenty of owners have done this if it's an easy swap....and I'd have to imagine it is because I think the dashes/clusters between the trucks and suv's are the same.
But, I was watching a Youtube video recently about something and the guy's truck was a 2009 GMC Sierra, and the cluster bezel had more of a "depth" to it and inset to the gauges and chrome accent rings around them. It got me to thinking about maybe doing this at some point to my Yukon. Maybe just black with the chrome gauge accent rings, maybe wrap it in a carbon fiber vinyl or something.
Interesting idea. I've seen folks swap Escalade clusters in. But the bezels are shaped differently, and require some fabrication to fit. If the truck bezel is the same physical shape as the Yukon, you're halfway there. Would the odometer have to be reprogrammed? Or are the miles stored in the ECU or BCM?

Had a busy Saturday. Added LED+resistors to the rear signals. switched to H9 headlight bulbs, and wired up front sequential turn signals.
Not talking about swapping the entire cluster. Just the plastic bezel piece that goes in the front of it.
(just a pic I stole from eBay just now)
