How did they hold up to all the heat cycles? Would you be able to use the Allen key after all that time to take the bolts out? If you ever had to.I hate the Stage8 locking bolt design with those damn C-clips.
I had them on my mustang but switched to some Split-Lock design I believe made by Breslin (think they sold design to some other company now). The Split-Lock design has a split threaded part of the bolt and uses an allen type screw in the center that spreads the bolt when tightened after installed.

Yes, the center screws are stainless I think and before installing I unscrewed them and put anti-sieze on them and have never had a problem. I've been using them on my supercharged, heads, cam, intake 302 since about 2006 and have never had a problem removing them. It's not daily driven though, mostly track use and some cruises during the summer, and is kept in the garage.How did they hold up to all the heat cycles?
