Finally Got around to fixing my Hyper-flash front switchback blinkers.
One area of concern folks have with the resistors is the heat generated.
For this application they only generate heat when the blinker is on, so unless your that person
that drives around the world to the right(forgets to shut it off) I had my blinker on for about 4 minutes at one point
and the resistor was warm, but not HOT to the touch.
there shouldn't be much concern. I did mount the resistors to metal as seen below, loosened the 13mm bolt, slid the tab in, and tightened.
(also don't fret, all wires were taped off, this was during mock up)
enjoy the video, I didn't edit so ignore the cool dude operating the blinkers, he's highly skilled do not try this at home...
Make sure if you mount the resistors you slide them down as far as possible. in the position seen below it hits the headlight adjusting rod/gear. I guess you could possibly flip the resistor, but that didn't occur to me til just now...I'm not taking the lights out again til I decide on which headlights to go with...
Well that's all for now, up next I think dual color 5202 LED fogs, White/Amber... but those are easy and still have to be ordered.
