I've been kicking around different ideas for a muffler. Been looking at Gibson and Magnaflow mostly.

Finally decided on a big body 3 chamber from Magnaflow. Just purchased, should be here next week.

I just hope I'm happy with the sound. I hate buying stuff like this without being able to hear it first.

Time will tell I suppose.
that should give you a slightly above stock type sound

Big thanks to @mazdawg(Mikey) !!!

He not only allowed me to "borrow" (read steal) his idea for the door handles but he also facilitated it by sending me the precut vinyl.

Finally got around to installing them today...

Turned out pretty well I think.

Looks great. I've got the svg file in the hands of a friend who's supposed to be making me a set. Where do you get color-matched vinyl? I didn't know that was a thing.

Finally Got around to fixing my Hyper-flash front switchback blinkers.

One area of concern folks have with the resistors is the heat generated.
For this application they only generate heat when the blinker is on, so unless your that person
that drives around the world to the right(forgets to shut it off) I had my blinker on for about 4 minutes at one point
and the resistor was warm, but not HOT to the touch.

there shouldn't be much concern. I did mount the resistors to metal as seen below, loosened the 13mm bolt, slid the tab in, and tightened.

(also don't fret, all wires were taped off, this was during mock up)

enjoy the video, I didn't edit so ignore the cool dude operating the blinkers, he's highly skilled do not try this at home...

Make sure if you mount the resistors you slide them down as far as possible. in the position seen below it hits the headlight adjusting rod/gear. I guess you could possibly flip the resistor, but that didn't occur to me til just now...I'm not taking the lights out again til I decide on which headlights to go with... ;)

Well that's all for now, up next I think dual color 5202 LED fogs, White/Amber... but those are easy and still have to be ordered.

YA now if I can just make myself keep saving that $1k a month I have been paying for the last 2 years

That's what we're doing. When we pay the Tahoe bill, the Caprice payment goes to savings, since we paid it off in January. We'll do the same with the Tahoe payment once it's done.
