What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

You pulled a 12,000 pound flatbed with your 2500 and got tossed around? Then mention a 3,000 pound trailer with a 1-7/8" ball? That ball at best is good for 3,500 pounds with no margin of safety.

I'm not reading something right Derick.

Its 12k capacity, weighs 3k.

The 1 7/8" ball would have just hooked up to the little motocamper directly.....and is what I should have done. I guess I wasnt clear on that.

I've been chasing a "clunk" since picking up my Denali about this time last year. Within the last year, both motor mounts and the transmission mount have been replaced. It's still there on aggressive downshifts, so I'm thinking front differential mounts since it's an AWD.

There isn't a ton of information out there about replacing them. Apparently the two approaches are to get the bushings, press the old out of the brackets/arms, press the new ones in. Or just replace the entire arm/bracket which is a little more expensive, but less hassle.

I'm struggling to find the correct part numbers. I'm coming up with two sets...

Anyone done this job? Any tips? Insight on the correct part numbers?

Switched my steering wheel clamp/epoxy job to zip ties, I'm not sure if the epoxy is cured or not it finally got up to 73deg today, took the Silverado this morning got about 2 miles down the road and looked in my mirror to see giant white puffy clouds behind me I had taken it to the dealer on Friday to get new trans cooler lines put on and sure enough when I pulled off the highway the entire undercarriage is covered in transmission fluid so the dealer towed it in, amazingly the guy that worked on it Friday had a emergency and had to leave work, lol, I guess if I was going to get my ass chewed I might take the rest of the day off too

Maybe put one of those electric heaters in the truck overnight, just to cure it. It's been a few days already.

I don't have one, I don't mind the zip ties it's going to rain again tomorrow then warm up for the rest of the week so I will probably take them off in a day or two if it didn't work I'll just order a steering wheel I guess, but the sample I put on some cardboard is pretty sticky so it should be fine

Was it mixed properly? 50-50 mix?

Are yo7 sure you mixed in enough hardener? It shouldn’t take long for epoxy to set up.

I just used some pliers to push it out (evenly) and then it got mixed a little more when I was spreading the bead around so it should be 50/50< I happened to have the special tool to push it out before I bought it but sold the tool on ebay didn't think I would ever need it stupid things are like $50+

I forgot what your epoxy tube looked like, but when I use the syringe type--2 separate tubes into 1--I have to make sure it comes out evenly. Sometimes 1 side tends to come out more then the other, which could cause the issue you're having right now.
