I didn't know the stock front drivers and passengers was 70‰

I always thought the factory rear sides and back were 18%

I had 20% put on my front drivers and passengers and it matches pretty close to all the others

2001 Yukon SLT
2012 Yukon Denali XL
2011 Yukon Denali RIP 5/20/18

70% is what the clear glass, like on the two front doors and the windshield, measure out at on a "tint meter" like LE use.

The rears are in the 18-20% range from the factory.

The rears on mine say on the glass itself that they’re 25%.

I used a heat gun on mine in the same location and then pushed it back a little to get rid of the rubbing... easy peasy.

Did you get the whole windshield tinted or just the brow?
Just the brow. Will post a pic from the inside

It’s not actually clear, it has a green tint to it but even clear glass is more like 90%. It never lets 100% light through. There is some ultra clear flat glass like Starphire which is higher when it has no coatings but it’s not used for automotive.

Wierd... never looked at mine.. my tint guy told me the rears were 18-20% and that's what he put on the front of mine to match the rear... it matches mine perfectly.

I wonder if the year of the truck has anything to do with it? I doubt it, but who knows.

Mine is an '08.

I understand it's not "clear"... perhaps I should start referring to them as "factory glass" or "without aftermarket tint".... but most likely I will continue to call it clear... lol
