I'm not buying it, lol. I love my current Yukon XL 2500, but I do wish it had the 6L80 as opposed to the current 4L80E. Some day I want to send her to Duraburb and get the 6.6L/Allison conversion done. Just need to find $15,000 growing on a tree somewhere... LmaoYes, go with one with a 6 speed. I own an 09 Tahoe and 06 Sierra Denali, I absolutely hate the 4L65 in comparison to my tuned 6L80. The 6.0 is a great engine, but the transmission kills it. Second gear sucks so bad till the rpm's climb back up, and going 85mph makes it rev a lot more. The 6L80 always knows where the power band is, especially when it's tuned.
