Damn that sux! Same thing happened to my Blazer years ago. It was brutally cold--in the lower single digits. Came out in the morning and the rear glass was shattered. Thought someone tried to steal my brand new Alpine, but the radio was still in it. Glass guy told me that it does happen sometimes from the cold. Going through insurance?
I've had that happen before but someone hit it with a bb at night in my driveway, now I park with the front facing forward all the time, a front window is cheaper to replace.
My “$50 glass deductible” from Progressive apparently only applies to the windscreen... jerks. $250 for the rear. I called a local wrecking yard and they only had entire rear hatch assemblies. On the bright side, the local glass company cleaned up the broken glass and crash wrapped it really nice with this adhesive tint film.Damn that sucks.
Same thing happened to my wife in our 2007. She was rolling down the road and all of a sudden she heard a loud bang and looked back and the rear glass was falling away like the hobo in the Polar Express!
$250 is about what I paid for my new glass. Only takes 30 minutes to install but still sucks. My “$50 glass deductible” from Progressive apparently only applies to the windscreen... jerks. $250 for the rear. Gotta be careful. I installed a brand new rear glass on a jeep a few yrs ago, I was just snugging the bolts and it shattered. I'll never do another one.$250 is about what I paid for my new glass. Only takes 30 minutes to install but still sucks.

Just make sure you have the plastic inserts in and you should be fine.
