Hey Phil, how's yours running?
Good still. Need to do an oil change though. I need to pull the manual and see what else needs done as well. Around 180k (instrument cluster still not working so not sure) and I'm sure there is some stuff that needs done. I still want to do the ball joints, I ask the mechanic every inspection how they are and if they need replacing. Says they are fine still so I let them go. I will definitely change them next year if he says they are still good. (Still factory that I know of and no issues that I notice)

I did pull the instrument cluster yesterday and boxed it up to ship to someone this week to fix the odometer and gear selector lights. Hopefully get that back by early next week. It definitely is weird driving with no cluster. Google maps tells speed so I'm fine with it. Or I could drive the wife's Jeep.

Good. I vaguely remember that you had an engine problem of some sort, did it work itself out? I've been kicking my ball joints down the road too. Alignment shop said I needed them and the boots are cracked but not leaking. Probably do them after the Texas run.

completed a drain/fill on the coolant and power steering fluid. I did the suck and fill method on the PS fluid several times until it became lighter in color, I think i went through about 5 quarts of fluid. Dont know if that was better than disconnecting the line and pumping it out that way...??? Anyhoo I "rinsed" the coolant out....let it drain, filled with distilled water, let it run for a little bit with the heat on high and drained again. Went ahead and replaced the lower radiator hose while I was in there, hose looked a little suspect. I still need to rotate tires and I think i'll finally be done for a while.
