It’s actually been a few days but I had to road trip 2 hours away to say my final goodbye to my grandpa. He died the next morning after I came back home.

But I got to see that I’ll be getting around 16 mpg for my trip to Florida. I also ordered a range device. Should be here Tuesday.
Not like and like.

Sorry to hear that man. Been a lot of it going around. Hope you were able to talk to him before he left.

Went to the track last night for some baselines. I worked late and they had Trophy T/T and Grudge Races going on, but I was still able to get 6 passes in. Run #5 was the best of those:

I did the first two with tow/haul on, third with it off, and the rest with it on and Traction Control and Stabilitrak off. The last two were as slow as the first two (15.7-15.8), but I'm sure that's due to back-to-back runs with no cool-down time since the lanes were wide open then.

Also hit this milestone, which means it's officially time to rip out the 5.3:

Well, as my dad always says, Pitter Patter, let’s get at her!

Well, as my dad always says, Pitter Patter, let’s get at her!

First thing's first- breakfast and coffee. Part of my waking up is catching up here and I was absent for a few days, even missed @HiHoeSilver's bday extravaganza :(, so I have to catch up to get everything in my world back in line. It was a late night after the track so I'm draggin ass today. I'm also on call this weekend so I'm hesitant to get involved as I'm required to hit the road within minutes of being dispatched.

When I do take my wrenches to it, the first thing will be to unbolt the torque converter and run it to see if that odd vibe is still there. Then, since it'll be warm, I'll do a compression test. That'll likely consume my day. As a bonus, I may look up the weight of an LMG so I can recalculate the balancing point so it won't be too far off balance on the lift with the motor out.

Picked up a set of these AT4 20's. Traded my chrome ck158's for them. Never was a fan of the chrome.

Picked up some black with chrome center caps, and some Nitto 420v's for them.

Where did you get the center caps from?
