I looked at Wilwood brakes but the kit is like $ 3600 :-/

Since you have 20s, have you considered doing a brake kit conversion?

I just got custom caliper brackets to install C6 ZO6 calipers and Baer 15" rotors up front. No real need to upgrade the rear where its not a racetruck.

The ZO6 or GS calipers are $264 ea on Rockauto and the rotors from Baer are $250-275 each. The can used the same brakelines you already have, just need some new crush washers and Banjo bolts for the new calipers

Where did you get the caliper brackets from?

Rudy over on one of the Silverado forums. I'll post his contact info up in another post.

But here is a picture of what I got from him.... quality parts

Silverado SS forum? I have considered this for my Silvy but don’t those calipers have Corvette on them? That was one of my issues plus the fact that by the time you factor in the brackets and pads you have $1500-1600 into these and you can get the Wilwood kit which has way bigger 6- piston calipers for about $1800-2000.

It's all up to the member. But yes, the calipers would have Corvette on them

I get parts at cost, so I'll be under that $1000 number.

There is another place that does brackets for the C6 ZR1 calipers and uses the OEM BBK 16.25" rotors from the Silverado

There is another guy out there doing brackets for the larger ZR1 calipers and OEM 16.25 Silverado rotors.

I'll post up that link too

There can be cost savings if you can find lightly used calipers too. People with fast cars have a tendency to crash for some reason

I just found a new pair of ZR1 calipers shipped for $699.
