I installed 3m Carbon Fiber wrap on the driver and passenger door sill. I used leftover wrap from my Camaro.

The drivers side sill was down to primer in a 6 inch spot.

Will add a pic.

The programming for it is listed under the Remote Control Door Lock Receiver with "Yellow Label". The 2-Way ARS was a GM Accessory to increase the range of the device and gave you a screen on the remote to see your odometer, air pressure in the tires, fuel level and could change radio channels such as while tailgating. It also tells you if the truck responded to the command to lock, remote start, unlock, etc.

The part number for my truck is not available anymore, it was 19156555 or 19244151. But I identified the individual part numbers needed and found them in other kits for other vehicles. Different installation instructions but I was able to obtain electronic installation instructions for the GM Wagons. So, that's my risk, we're going to install it, program it and hopefully it works. If not, we'll remove the yellow label RCDLR and put the old one back in and put the stuff back up for sale on ebay.

The photo below is a representation of what they look like, about twice as thick as the stock ones. Yours and mine have different button configurations because of our installed options, you'll have two more buttons for your liftgate glass and liftgate. Mine, just one for the glass. The panic alarm on ours is moved to the sides, squeezing both sides to set off the "find it" or full alarm.

Added a home made door handle saver. I did the driver side a while ago because it was broke. This one is on the passenger side and meant as preventative. I took some stainless and formed it to fit on the surface on the back side of the handle. Stuck on with some 3M two sided adhesive tape.

How hot do you think that'll get in the middle of summer? Sitting out in the sun for a while, get in, go to close the door and "ow, shit!"

I know the metal buckles on the seat belts get hot sometimes.

Are those just wear from shoes or pant legs rubbing when getting in and out?
