Soap and water..... try it......lmao
well it really wasn't that dirty because I clean it about twice a year, I took the engine cover off and just sprayed it with a whole can of gunk original and then used the car wash pressure washer with high speed soap and then high speed rinsed it, didn't spray directly in the alternator or ecm and didn't spray directly in the air filter everything else is game.
I think you will be fine, if you have a pressure washer at home it's better to do it while the engine is cool but just spray the crap out of it with degreaser let it sit a few minutes then spray it off, the actual amount of water from a pressure water is not that much it's just under pressure so it's not like your dipping it in a swimming pool, keep the tip back as much as you can just don't stick it up there like your trying to strip the paint off.Smacked ass!
I'd like to do mine under the intake it's pretty bad under there. I'm gonna be doing the valley pan and intake gaskets in the next couple a weeks, not looking forward to it but it needs to be done. I would love to have it cleaned off ahead of time, I'm just afraid if I have a leaking valley pan gasket I don't want that shit to wash into the motor. Think I am being too paranoid?
