I say F them if they sell low quality stuff- it’s their own problem.Agreed and email sent. Will be happening next week. I have likely come to the end of their graces now as I am one or “those” customers.

I bought from one of the forum members here, they’re reproductions and the quality was great. @NathanJax sells them for a great price. I think reps might be better quality than some of the factory ones.Don’t get me wrong. I applied that label to myself. They are still being very accommodating but that will only go so far. At this point I will swap for wheels I have a better chance of repairing if need be while I can. He still stands behind his statement that these are the same quality wheels the dealerships use. I guess I could by it since GM doesn’t have a good record for their chrome wheels as far as I fan read on the interwebs.
If the black and machined ones go to pot I will either get some remanufactured ones or to to PPV wheels.

Yessir. That’s the brand I bought, they are awesome.Factory Reproductions?
Insee some PVD Chrome wheels on their site. I am going to learn more about that in the future.Yessir. That’s the brand I bought, they are awesome.
I’m sure you’ll be fine, it’s just something to learn from. I almost bought some wheels that were probably lesser quality (OE Wheels LLC) until I found out about the guys here selling. There should probably be more info on wheel quality on here, who has been happy with their purchase, who hasn’t. In the old days you just bought them from whatever local tire place sold them, you didn’t have that much of a choice. Now we are bombarded with a thousand sellers and a thousand brands, and then a thousand styles and all kinds of sizes. It can be overwhelming. Now I see a-holes advertising on FB and FB Marketplace for $49 wheels and nothing even says that’s a DOWN PAYMENT, they make it look like it’s $49 for that wheel. I reported a bunch of them but even if they get booted there’s plenty more that will take their place, just trying to get their hook into people with their deceptive advertising.Insee some PVD Chrome wheels on their site. Right now I am at the point where I am second guessing every decision. So something that was supposed to be fun and exciting is mot so much.
I have taken your suggestion and am going to go swap wheels for the black ones and hope for the best. That is happening Monday Morning.

I had a set of OE Wheels LLC wheels and decided to send then down the road. I wasn’t impressed by the quality and thickness of the material compared to my factory wheels. Seeing those caused me to look to OEM wheels and forget the aftermarket side. I was trying to work within a budget which I have now exceeded. Hindsight being 20/20 I would have ordered some replicas in a style and finish I felt would last and bought the tires I really wanted.I’m sure you’ll be fine, it’s just something to learn from.
