That explains the fuel pump fuse, but what about the CHMSL fuse?

they moved it to the inside fuse block, this has came up before I think the center brake light is on the same circuit as the left brake light or something like that. because the right turn/stop lamp has it's own fuse but not the left (per the fuse box anyway)

I find it odd that they still have those positions listed in the owners manual and on the sticker diagram

ya I don't know why other than it was maybe easier to just leave it, not sure what year they changed them or if it is still in that position on a 2500 or something

Ok it works. I got some big Schotky blocking diodes off Amazon, cut the wire in half and put one in the middle. Now the current can only flow one direction so the headlight relay turns on the fog light relay but the fog light relay can’t turn on the headlight relay. Having it above the fuse box isn’t the cleanest but I’m not going to pull the fuse box to install it underneath until it’s been in awhile and I know it’s safe. I figure if it’s gonna get hot I want to see it and not have it hiding. Once I’m sure I’ll probably pull the fuse box and wire it in permanent. So now the fogs are on with low or high beam automatically and I can turn the fogs on by themselves or with the park lights or with the headlights.

Diode part number, please? This has been on my to-do list for a while.

Send me a PM with your address and I’ll throw a couple in an envelope and mail them. I had to buy 20 on Amazon and I MIGHT use a couple more some day so that leaves me with about 16 extra. Anybody else want a couple, PM me. This is what they are.
