Figured I would check out my charging system since putting in the new batteries and running both grounds to the RVC a couple weeks ago, appears everything is working normal again no negative amps and the economy mode isn't kicking on when it shouldn't like it was with my old batteries, turned everything on and it has nice positive amps, I guess the batteries must have been bad even though they tested good and/or running both grounds to the RVC helps. Either way seems to be ok now, cleaned the throttle body and MAF and reset the transmission fluid life since it was just flushed and they didn't reset it, it was on 6%

Do you have a picture of your negative cable where you tied both to the RVC? I would like to do something like you did, I don't think my alt is charging both of my batteries.

what I did is I had a 7 foot ground cable made, that fits perfect from terminal to terminal and just feed it along the firewall, I thought I was going to need a dual post terminal for the passenger side battery but I discovered you can just bolt the cable to the factory battery post i just used a slightly bigger washer. so both ground cables are connected together and therefore to the RVC

I gotcha now, I was over complicating your cable in my head. I was thinking the second cable had to go through the RVC loop for some reason, haha

Had the Tech2 out to pull DTCs to see if that HVAC actuator code came back and I got this one concerning the object detection modual.

I usually don't have any problems with it, but sometimes when on the highway and in the left lane and I go by some guardrail it will go on and not turn off for a while. I'll usually use the DIC and disable the Blindspot warning so it goes off, then re-enable it.

Think the sensor needs replacing? 89119bceb71bf0ac4d69c29d324c5d64.jpg

I considered doing it that way but the cable would have to be a smaller gauge, the hole in the sensor is not very big, plus the battery manufacturer sugest's connecting the batteries this way, the positive's are connected at the starter
