Pretty sure mine are original with 200K miles. No slack that I can hear or feel- but I'm working on that! lol

They'll probably outlast the trans.
Wow, nobody got it..:shrug:
Guess it wasn’t that funny, sounded good in my head at the time....

The holes are there but they're not threaded. The self threading bolts are about $8 each. I picked up some yellow zinc bolts and just used one of the self threading bolts from the front splash shield to cut the threads.

M10x1.5 x 25mm length.

This is what I did with mine as well. Ace Hardware had the bolts on yellow zinc. Depot and Lowes dont have them in an exterior rated finish, unless you want stainless steel
