Quick question:
How long ‘yall going between oil changes on Mobil-1?

I am at 4,000 and down 1/2 quart. Oil still looks golden color.
How long has the oil been in the engine months wise? With synthetic you can go at least 7000 mi. if you top up with a half quart of new.

Ok when I run this jumper from tan to blue on the wiper plug it works. The button and the key fob open the glass. Not sure what to do with the pink/black wire for the glass ajar signal.

Be careful Bro....you don't want this to become one of those trucks that spontaneously catches on fire while parked somewhere.

About 5 months. Didn’t write down the date.
From the Mobil 1 website - "Mobil 1 Annual Protection motor oil helps extend oil life, delivering proven engine protection for one year or 20,000 miles between oil changes, whichever comes first" The most generic standard Mobil1 is 10,000mi or one year. But with AFM engines always top-up to full.

Yeah, no way I am going 10,000. I originally figured 4,000 and am at 4,257 or so now.
Really no good reason to use synthetic if you change your oil that frequently. Very old school thinking from when everyone used single weight oils.
