I have been using M1 extended performance filters but last time I switched up to the Fram Ultra Guard filters... I have never used Fram on anything before but these new Ultra Guard filters are supposed to be the best out there. Everybody over on "Bob is the oil guy" raves about them so I figured I would try them out and see how the oil sample turns out.

I run a dual remote mount oil filter setup with oversized filters... gives me about 4.5 times the filter capacity over the stock filter, as well as an aftermarket oil cooler.

System capacity is about 9 quarts and about 8 get changed during an oil change, the rest stays in the cooler and lines etc.
Wow....nice set up!

Swapped old "chrome" and body color handles for black. Slowly transitioning away from any chrome. Springs in the old handles were weak and the difference was noticeable. Also added sound deadener and insulation to every door while I was at it.

That’s not chrome. That’s brushed for the z71.

Hopefully you went with OEM handles, the aftermarket ones won’t last long before they break.

Not OEM. Certain areas are beefer than what I took off. Obviously materials may be of a different quality. Time will tell.
The area that’s important is weak on all the aftermarket ones. If it breaks quickly you’ll know. Unfortunately all the aftermarket ones do. There’s a reason they’re 1/3 the price of OEM.

Put in the projector style LED reverse bulbs that were delivered today and returned the Sylvania LED bulbs to get my $14 back....lol

I'll check them out better when it gets dark out, but I'm sure these will be better. The Sylvania's only had LEDs on each side, while the replacements have them all around and on the tip.
