The area that’s important is weak on all the aftermarket ones. If it breaks quickly you’ll know. Unfortunately all the aftermarket ones do. There’s a reason they’re 1/3 the price of OEM.

Got them through 1A Auto so if that happens I'll find out how they handle their lifetime warranty.

didn't know the hypertech would unlock my parked rev limiter so never heard what the Borla really sounds like until now
Do you have cats and headers? I have 2 brand new Borlas. Been debating on what to do with them. I have LTs and no cats.

no headers, that is just a k&n blackhawk, ls7 90mm throttle body, 2 magnaflow cats, the factory pipe is 3.5" on the L94, 3.5" in/out straight thru borla xr1 and no rear resonator
the borla is somewhat quiet if you are just cruising highway speed

Filled up with E85. Mobil station near me is $1.65 gallon. Took 24 gallons. My alcohol content went from 62% before filling to 73%

Then washed it.

Same here. For 1/3 the price, I thought I'd try one. My OEM one failed in an unusual way, not the typical failed inserts. So replacement was the only option. I was pleased to see the aftermarket one had more material in the area where mine broke. It's been in service for a year without issue so far. As far as I'm concerned, they all break too easily. But unless someone comes up with a billet replacement, they're all the same.
