I saw that someone else on here added a stainless scrubby pad.

A few of us have and one member recently bought a catch can off Amazon and a pad was included. I have the catchcans.com one and really like it. The scrubber pad does improve it's effectiveness. I installed a ~$15 one off Amazon on my brother's truck and it works just as well, but has a much smaller capacity. His Gen3 doesn't pass nearly the same amount of oil a Gen4 does, so the size is fine. I consistently catch 3 ounces per 5K miles.

I would imagine the larger the volume in the can the more it cools the vapor allowing for more condensation.

Did 2 things to the Yukon this week. First, I lost one of the lights over my license plate. Replacement bulb didn't help, so I pulled out the test light to confirm no power was going to the socket. Pulled the rear apart and found a pinched wire. I had to 'rebuild' the area where the bolts attach to that applique, but got it done. Second, replaced both the lift-gate struts, as one had gone bad and so the lift gate wouldn't open all the way. Would open 1/3 of the way, then close back down. 15 min, a gasket pick and a flat-head screwdriver and we're in business! :)

What would one on the internet do with your license plate number that all the cars driving behind you every day could not do???

That always cracks me up when people disguise their plates online. I remember doing that way back when I first started posting pics of my vehicles until I thought it through.
