I use plastic trim tools. The one around the stereo can feel like you’re going to break it before the first couple clips pop loose, then just work your way around it. The plastic tools will keep you from scratching anything in case you slip. Harbor Freight has a set for less that $10.View attachment 261699
Yeah, I have those. Thanks.

Did you buy them with center caps? Those are more expensive then the rims sometimes. PPV rims are the same as reg Silverado steel rims. Just need to drill and tap bolt holes for the PPV center caps.
You know it for the center caps!! Two actually came with the caps included. I wasn't too worried since I was planning to use them as a second set, swap the caps too.

When the wheels were cheap no one wants them. Now everyone wants them so they are high. Supply and demand. People use them on slammed bagged trucks new and old and looks good. There is a company that makes them for dog dish hubcaps and they are 1000 a wheel. Be happy they aren’t as much.

My wheel experience of late (as a seller) is that prices are depressed. I assume this is because money is tight with furloughs and whatnot. So if they're expensive now, buy them before they get crazy expensive later.

You mean it fell inside the head unit? Are you talking about the jack on the rear of the case? You must have had a screw loose.:lol2:

Sorry, couldn’t help it.
I opened it and it wasn’t even hold in with screws. They were missing. I took one of the outer screws holding the bracket to hold the board. Must’ve been a Friday radio.

That looks good. Any tricks to pulling them? I want to wrap mine. But I'm terrified of breaking them pulling them out. I'm kinda ham-handed when it comes to stuff like that.
Like mark said the one around the radio is a tight ***** but once you get a couple of the clips loose the rest come off fairly easily, my 18 Silverado has even tighter stuff, hell just getting the drivers side cover off to access the fuse panel took a lot of pulling with tools and the plastic part of the dash is softer and marks easily

Well it works just fine. Mic is good too. If anyone wants it it’s for sale. I paid 923 with all the pac stuff bezel and radio. 475 shipped with everything. DDX57S. Has wiring for steering wheel controls all together and RSE. 98% plug and play. The other 2% is grounding wires for video playback and running the mic.
