I had the nitto 420s and they cupped out kinda fast. Even with staying on top of air and rotation. Hopefully the 421s are better. ( not trying to dissuade you on nitto it could of been the size i had, the roads i drive on ect )

i kinda like the 3 circle style with the grey background. Mine are super bright red and it annoys me haha.
I had probably 4 sets of 420s without an issue. Wires had a few sets and had 421s last time. Not as good as the 420 in water but still not bad.
Yeah it’s weird how little things pop out as us huh? Haha. Someone here probably loves these tails.

My 08 Silverado has been under recall for that since 2016 with “no remedy available” but there hasn’t been a single accidental deployment in the GMT 900 platform. Ever. Some people have nonetheless been worried, now maybe there will be a remedy.
the Mychevy site shows the active recall with no remedy for my 2011. None mentioned at all for the 2013.

GM has already purchased something like 1.2 million of the airbags out of the 7-8 million needed so it looks like we will eventually getting notices in the mail to bring them to the dealerships for replacement. I can’t wait to drive mine in and air it out. Then they’ll see it’s no longer an LT but an LTZ. And has an Esky cluster fitted in. Their poor little factory brains won’t know what to do lol.

I just read all 2007-14 airbags are being recalled. Takata bs again.

can someone validate it?

This should be interesting. GM got out of recalling the cracked dashes under the class action lawsuit. But the passenger side airbags are covered under this new recall. How will they handle it when the cracked and brittle dash needs to come out to exchange the airbag? I'd love to think GM might be forced to replace cracked dashes by this recall. But somehow, I think they'll find a way out of it. And what about the folks who've installed covers? This could get literally and figuratively messy!

The dash doesn’t need to come out to replace the airbag; instead, the airbag has to come out to replace the dash. All you have to do is drop the glovebox door all the way down by pushing in on the clip on the right to access the airbag bolts and then release the clips in the cover as you push it up and out. So they won’t really be touching the dash at all.

So much for that idea.

The t case and trans are u related as far as needing rebuilds. Just because your trans is shot doesn’t mean a thing as far as the t case goes.
I wrote TC and changed it to T case not even realizing it, when the whole damn time I meant torque converter. Feeling brain dead after recently working several 19-39hr work “days”.
