ya that's what I figured would happen as well, that and I take them out from time to time to clean them. It stays in place just fine I have no complaints there good liners

That’s true. But what a PIA.Got the pan and the front cover undone last night.
Was trying to not fully remove the front axle this time around.
Ran into a slight issue, can't seem to get it to work.
And it was a pita to get to the pan bolts.
I tried to pivot the diff/pumpkin side down, but the input shaft binds on the truck for a good tilt.
guessing i need to pivot the other side?
Next plan, dropping the front axle all the way out.
Easy to do, but pivoting that fkn thing back in is a pita.
Oh well, easier to get a good solid torque reading when reinstalling the pan.
