That’s why I use the ARP bolt. Apply their lube, torque it once and done. And I use a big ass torque wrench with a pipe over the handle. It’s all about leverage.
Geewiz RM That’s nice to know after the fact! I was in the same boat using an OEM bolt, but I had leverage like you mentioned above plus the addition of a flywheel stop tool. Still felt like I was going to break something. Afterwards I decided that I need to install a lift in a garage/shop that has a heated floor.
Daydreaming...BUT I’m going to actually “retire” [again] soon. And I’m serious this time. Plus with my wife being a doctor who will soon have her own practice, I’d say it’s high time for me to make up for the last 10 years of devoted servitude. It’s only fair...am I right?

Ooooo, I'm still fantasizing about a garage with a lift and a heated floor!

I wish I could find a heated steering wheel, the arthritis in my hands would love this in the winter months. It seems all of them have been bought up, and they are discontinued from GM... It's really sad. I have searched for over a year and it's hopeless. I refuse to get a used one, so I've been searching for good heated gloves instead.
