got it mostly together now.
Did some cranking with the plugs out to verify oil pressure on the gauge, got about 40psi cranking.

Cleaned up the plugs, wires, verified resistance on the wires since i had to really pull on #8 to get it out...
replaced fresh when i bought the hoe, otherwise i would have gone with all new.

Removing the wires i learned i needed more dielectric grease next time around, so i got everything real good... lol
Fresh copper anti-seize on the plugs etc.

Double checked the oil level, then fired her up with out the accessory belt or antifreeze for a minute.
Runs great! so far... ;)

Oil pressure is fantastic.
I forget what it was at, but I'm happy. :favorites37:

Replaced the shifter linkage bushing on the suburban. I caught it rolling down the the street on the security camera. Thankfully our street is flat enough where it only rolled 10 feet before it stopped. Crisis averted.

When was a kid we were playing basketball and a neighbors truck popped out of park and nearly killed us.
Landed on top of a car right next to us.
Very Loud.

I never trust park.
Always use the parking brake!

And I was able to setup my catch can the other day.
Had planned to get pictures, but the baffles were pretty tight. :D

Might still pull it apart once more before the final install.

However, i used a stainless scrub thingy on the bottom, baffle above that.
Then while cutting out the baffles in the sheet aluminum, i noticed my scissors were nearly cutting perfect little windmill blades.
SO i made a center baffle as a little propeller. :D
Idea is that the air will spin when getting sucked up to the top.
And most likely it's just going to be a center baffle that flows very well... :)
Then another baffle above that.

then built a little stand off in the middle and riveted the assembly together.
I thought about another baffle at the top, but lazy me just cut one of the scrubs in half and stuffed it in there.

Installed a tube all the way to the bottom, nice tight fitting in the baffles, should force it to the other side etc. :D

It should work fine i believe. :boti:
Which one do you have and do you have any pics?

This one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019OKU1QO/

I bought this one for my Vette a few years ago, it was cheaper iirc...
Went with it since it fit the clamp here: https://www.amazon.com/Moroso-63401-Universal-Mounting-Bracket/dp/B000CON1ZU/

Design changed slightly, the clamp still fits but i needed to really tighten it down.
Nice because you can open the top.
However, this is a new design apparently.
So the top has a gasket, the bottom has a nice O-Ring.
Improved a bit.

Easy to do what you want inside.

ETA: i would not recommend it.
Weird threads, but it will work fine for me.

Looked at it and now I'm suspicious that it's starting to lift itself again. It did this back when I was lowering it over a year ago. It just seemed to be getting taller and taller the longer I worked on it. That wheel gap is looking bigger than ever. It's not the wheel and tire combo- I compared them to the 22s when I was switching them out. They're right at 1/8" shorter OD. It needs to come down 1/2", maybe 3/4".
