I saw those on amazon when I was looking, prior to him linking it. Being that they are $100 cheaper than anyone else, I had to assume they were knockoffs. I rarely buy anything from amazon that's a gm part because of so much fake shit.
If it’s sold by Amazon it’s good, it’s just their third party sellers that are the problem. They kick them off their platform all the time but there’s new ones to take their place.

I noticed that is sold by Worldpartsdirect. I have a note to myself to not buy from them but I have them listed as an EBay seller. I don’t remember how they screwed me but they must have really ripped me off. I don’t have notes on any other sellers but them but I won’t buy from them for some reason. Just a warning to anybody thinking about giving them money.

That's a good idea to keep notes.
There is one seller that i keep trying to buy a tube of motoseal.
First attempt they never sent it.
But that was during rona.

Second attempt, they sent me a totally random item off of their shelf instead.
What did they send me? A 80s tbi rebuild kit...

I read over there reviews no complaints of fake parts, mostly any complaints were slow shipping, I am wary of buying fake oem parts off of amazon, ebay, etc but that is mostly for small easy to replicate stuff like knock sensors for instance. there ebay reviews were about the same, mostly slow shipping. :smh:
not sure why this generation cv axles leak, I already had to replace one at about 100k, on my nbs I never had to replace one and I drove the literal piss out of it to 312k
same with the brake calipers had both the front ones leak before 100k

IIRC the reason I took a note to not buy from them is they never shipped my part and wouldn’t return messages when I tried to find out when the parts would ship. I think it was over a month and they still had my money and hadn’t shipped.

Yes. With promo, they are $100. That's $25 more than rockauto going with the cardone that @George B recommended. That's probably the route I'll take, just for the simplicity. If they turn out to be a pos, I'll buy the oem from rockauto and have a $100 lesson in being cheap. I figure they must sell millions of them and if they are completely garbage, they wouldn't keep selling them. Hell, prior to the internet, you always (mostly) bought what the parts store sold. Dealer prices were crazy. I forget that sometimes
I take no responsibility for it if it’s crap. :deal:

I'm a big boy. I take full responsibility:) Thanks for taking the time tho. Helped a lot to hear of a good experience with a product. Like I said before, after a ton of reading, all the parts stores house brand are reboxed cardone. Hopefully I have good luck with it

3rd review down mentions fake part. It could be legitimate. I'm just not comfortable with it.

my driver side is fine at 200k. I replaced the boot on passenger about 60k ago. It had a small lake for past few years though. Finally blew its load Friday.

Id suggest getting some kind of wheel cleaner that has iron remover in it for beginners..

Actually Wal mart has chemical guys stuff that works well on that. Spray on and scrub off... Then use some polish of some kind to brighten up the surface, should work wonders....
