Today I’m changing out the motor mounts while I still have the front driveshaft out and coils unhooked from changing out the valve gaskets/grommets this morning. I couldn’t find my set of long air hammer bits, so by not being able to get in close with the shorties due to the rackn’Pigeon (funny story my cousin thought his dad and I were removing “pigeons” from a “rack” stored under his truck and then we were “converting“ it to a “Cadillac”.) Anyways…I couldn’t get in close with the air hammer and the damn steering linkage didn’t want to disconnect…so I got out my “persuader punch” to break it loose. Now I’m off to the top motor Mount bolts.
Anyone changed out their front ride height sensors? Just curious if I should stick with OEM (Delphi) or if there is a better product out there?

Good ole 45lb 2’ long snap-on punch.
What age do you think kids should have their own car insurance policy and not be just an added driver to yours?
My step son has been driving the 2001 Yukon for about 2 years now and takes it to college with him. He turns 21 later this month and will be starting his senior year in the fall. Our insurance on that vehicle is about $80 more per month and he pays us the difference every month. He works full time during the summer and part time when in school. I told him his insurance will be a bit cheaper once he's 21 and will drop again at 25.
Jersey has the highest insurance rates in the country. At one time as a teenager I was paying $5k a yr in insurance. Of course I had points on my license. At the time I had a slow a$$ 85 Z28.
How do I check my ethanol % with my Tech 2?
My 1 tank of E85 has dropped my MPG like 30%.
Yeah my ethanol sensor in my truck is stuck........reads 23% at all times
Tell her you need help with some math. Crunching numbers for the mpg or some assistance getting the tuning dialed in. Kids always like helping when they can teach something new to the older generation.
Not trying to pry, but have any of you guys with kids (in their teens) thought about or looked into building their credit? Credit score, and the fair issac corporation (fico) score weigh heavily in the cost of an insurance premium. Most drivers under 25 don’t good or any credit, but their adjuster never bothers to tell them that they can lower their premium by having a better credit score.
