Do the replacement dash's hold up any better? It is kind of an eye sore but if the new just cracks to then what's the point?
They have a revised part number for the ones without the center speaker (not positive when they added that) but of course, I didn't get that one. I had my buddy that works at a body shop use my vin to order. I found out about a year later that they had a revised number. @Rocket Man posted some detailed images showing the difference in the revised number and the original, in his build thread.

There’s a new reinforced design, it’s been out for a few years I believe. When I replaced the one in my Silverado (same part as a Tahoe) I found out there are now 2 part numbers and the old one is out of stock but the new one was available. AFAIK none of the new ones have cracked yet. Don’t ask me for part numbers though, there’s too many due to colors, options with center speaker etc.
