Just ordered a new Dorman compressor for the autoride system, Amazon had it marked down to 129 from 563.. mine has sporadically been cutting on and off at weird times and yesterday recognized it didn’t cut on when loaded down in the back so went ahead and snagged one. Here’s the link if anyone needs one. Shipping is a little ways out so if you need one now I suggest going elsewhere but it’s a hell of a deal.

Dorman 949-099 Suspension Air Compressor Compatible with Select Cadillac / Chevrolet / GMC Models (OE FIX) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07B2FGV69/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_9KXBRAM1V6RPTAT0JP7T
That's a good price. I bought mine from Rockauto back in February. They have them for $175, minus the 5% discount code, so $166, but then there's shipping, so then your back at $175-180ish

Awesome!

You think they'd work as well on a hose slipped over a pipe with no bead? I should probably just make a bead crimper.
I have no idea about them working on a smooth pipe.

The only bad thing about them is if you ever need to remove the hose for anything, these clamps need to be carefully cut off without damaging the hose underneath and aren't reusable like a spring clamp.

Thank you! The term "arborvitae" appears to be the key search word for what I want.

I don't get deer in my yard and low- or no maintenance is my goal. I'm just looking for something that looks like what you have to fill in some plain areas in front of the house and can be kept at ~10' or so to stay under the eaves.

I really wish I had thought about planting something like this as a fence. I built 10 years ago, so they'd be tall and solid by now. Even before today's lumber prices, they would've been much cheaper than a wooden fence.
If you purchase the new ones that are just under 6' tall - those were the best value ones to get if I recall correctly.
The price of poker went up about 35% for the ones just over 6 feet tall.

If you have over 20 holes to dig ... I would sub out the hole digging to a couple hungry / cheap teen agers. I dug all my holes by hand myself at around 50yo and nearly gave myself a heart attack ( hahaha ) Or if you have a friend with a tractor and auger.

They grow pretty face if you fertilize and water them during droughts the 1st few years. After 3-4 years are zero maintenance.

Had to look that up because I remembered I had "Juniper" somewhere on my list, but that was Spartan and Skyrocket. I won't be doing any type of ground cover like this because it'll be next to the house and we can't have anything that'll allow critters to hide in to ambush us. I'm actually wanting rocks for my ground cover. My back doesn't allow much ground-level yard maintenance.
Yea I am a big fan of rocks as ground cover !

I have made dozens of trips to Phoenix and north Scottsdale over the years ( golf and baseball ) and marvel at the zero maintenance design of desert landscaping :worthy:

Not that I'd need it, but I saw a tool made specifically for removing them without damaging the hose or fitting. They'd be going on the 1/2" pipes for the rear HVAC on the metal Ts at the firewall. The whole idea is to never have to remove anything in this area, so it's a perfect application for me.

Earl's Plumbing has a tool to roll a bead in the pipe, but it's ~$50. I'll never use it again so I'll just make something.

5"-6' right off the bat would be a great starting size. Being the maximum value size is a bonus!

I live in an agricultural area- everyone has a tractor and I know a few are sure to have auger attachments. I'm not doing the fence thing at this point, just a few for accent/fill-in.

As for the fence thing, I'm purposefully being "that guy" with visible project vehicles and questionable yard activities in hopes that my new neighbors will build a fence. We're all neighborly and friendly, but his house and shop was recently completed so he's still in "build mode". He's setting up his patio area for entertaining so I'm sure he doesn't want his eyesore neighbor to be visible to his guests. He's mentioned needing a fence to "keep his dog in"... the dog that seems to love me a lot more than him.

If you're good at welding and have the right equipment you can weld a bead around the pipe

Pulled the plugs out of every door. Rear driver side door has a bunch of junk in it that I might spend time trying to actually clean out later... But probably just let it rot out the door
Front passenger has what looks like a washer or something blocking the front drain hole. Was able to move it out of the way but not get it out of the door and it started draining some water.
Driver side door had a sunflower seed shell blocking it.
Rear passenger was dry as a bone.

Put the new Moog U-joint strap kit on.
