This hit me again last night. Had to limp home. Had to hoof it to work this morning. Gonna borrow the F-150 work truck for the weekend while I try to attack this. Plan is to replace the pedal sensor assembly and go from there.
Gotta be one of them Bluetooth wires in there…corroded under the insulation barely touching hit a bump and s h i t gets wacky Bluetooth wire. Sorry brudda

Last Thursday, the kiddo and I went to hang with the Texas fam at a beach house VRBO in Galveston. Terramar Beach, to be specific. Spent Friday and Saturday on the beach and drove home Sunday.

Last night, I took McKinley to a concert in New Orleans. This is the second year in a row that she's requested to see live music for her bday present. I couldn't say 'no' to that! Her bday is over a month from now, but she wanted to see Pixies. Franz Ferdinand and Bully opened for them. I've never heard of Bully and had forgotten how cool Franz Ferdinand is. They had great energy and put on a good show. Oh- what I did to my GMT900... I parked it as safe as possible in a paid parking garage:

Used to live on Galveston. The beaches on the eastern side of the island get crowded, but if you go all the way to the west they are empty most of the year, and you can just drive out to wherever your heart desires.

I got to practice my tire changing drill this morning on the way to work. It's a good reminder to cycle the winch occasionally to keep it from seizing, and to check the spare tire pressure. Thankful for TPMS so I could pull over before the tire was damaged.
This was a head scratcher. It leaked down from 22psi to 15psi in about a mile. I swapped to the spare, and the pressure held at 15psi overnight. No visual punctures. Nothing shown by the soapy water test...

...until I wiggled the valve stem. Then I found the intermittent leak between the valve body and the rubber stem. Pre TPMS I learned the hard way to always use metal stems. I got complacent.

When in doubt, always wiggle your stem.

I noticed that. We were probably halfway down the island. The area of beach we were at was supposed to be for those that live/are vacationing at the Terramar Beach houses. It was sectioned off with pylons and those on either side had no vehicles on the beach. I think being able to drive out to the water will be a factor in my future beach vacations cuz it makes things SO much easier. I'd like to venture far west next time. The cruise would be nice.

I disconnected the battery, replaced the pedal assembly. Hooked battery back up. I guess disconnecting the battery clears the codes because I could not read any. Did a lap around town. Made it back no issues. I got the work truck for the weekend just in case this ***** on me again. Heading out soon for another test run.

Long ass day. Up at 5 for work until 12. Run around to 2 stores to get the pedal assembly because the first one said they had it on the computer but not on the shelf physically. Grab lunch, go home and eat and take a power nap. Get up and mow and weed whack and blow for about 1 1/2 hours. Then dig into this pig. TIRED!!!!!
