What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

My 2004 NBS is a 4 pin (but only has three wires) and no RVC.

I see there are some two-to-four adapters. Wonder if there’s harm trying out an OEM 160 or 220 like you mention?

I meant to post up a vid. It's no Mechman, but if you or someone else reading this has an application for it:

That’s what Mechman had me do. Knew it was excited because it hummed a bit, but still only low 12v under high load. Super weird because I’m 100% OEM electric wise aside from the electric fan conversion, and obviously the upgraded wires for the Mechman. I’ll start a thread in a bit in the NBS section. Sorry all!

my part number 13534128 regulator looks like this, super eazy to swap. just a few screws and no solder. but I can't find anything that swaps.. can't even find a replacement one.

ahh makes sense. I have different aftermarket ones.. they kinda do the same thing but are led so they don't pull much power and no drl. it uses a external wire to a fuse tap for the led bar for the drl. it just dims when the head lights come on. but it's on a fuse that has power anytime the key is on. not sure if you could wire it like that some how.

if you happen to still have your stock housings laying around to troubleshoot with that could be helpful. I tossed mine back the box and thought I'd polish them up and sell them because they didn't look you bad but never got around to it haha.

I kept the OEM ones. However, my shop isn't built yet and they're stuck in boxes in the back of a shelf, behind a bunch of other stuff, really high up, in a building far away. I may or may not bother hunting for them just yet.

Gotta remember that the alternators off these newer rigs are 6-phase. Probably not gonna find many replacement parts.

I honestly don't fully understand the difference but these things work well very well. if you order a amp clamp I'll be interested to see what you can load yours too.

the ebay seller got back to me finally and said he's going to locate me a good one and send it out. he didn't say if it was a regulator or a whole alt. I asked but go nothing. I'll see if anything shows up haha. but I clocked it so it's facing upright and the plug doesn't look like it's going fall out and if it does it defaults to 13.7 without the plug anyways haha.

my bcm sim came in today. I need to wire it in to see if it's going to work. I gotta resist the urge to take it apart and see what's inside it. don't wanna break it before I test it haha. I have a feeling it's just a small Arduino board inside of a big relay case and plug harness.
