ugh and like clock work ls oil pan gasket seeping. blah.. you know for all the updates the ls got over a sbc besides a good flowing set of heads the rest is more hassle than it's worth.

sadly I'm sure the gasket is fine just the factory rtv has failed. did the one on my c6 a few years back and gasket was perfect. o ring part wasn't even deformed yet.

this should be the opposite of fun haha.

Love Sheetz. When I was working in Coudersport, PA a few years ago -- okay, it was July '03 -- a tornado went through the area and knocked out all the power in town. Next day Sheetz had a big generator outside powering the store and the pumps, while no one else in town had power. They had a decent food counter so that's where we ate, but life in a dark hotel at night was not all that great. No hot water or lights all week (the office building had a generator, so we were able to work and charge up our cell phones and laptops to use as lights). Lots of folks lost food that was in freezers.

The high winds took out what was left of the historic Kinzua Bridge: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinzua_Bridge

I love your northern PA stories. I miss being up there.

I do miss it, too, although it was only 3.5 years of my working life. Having to travel from here to there could be a bit long, but once we got there it was a unique experience. I miss the people, having breakfast at Erway's Restaurant, and the beautiful countryside. Oh, and the real maple syrup from Wending Creek Farms.
