Yeah I completely understand hopefully she serves as well as the last oneI feel you brother, it was a bitter sweet decision for me man. I loved my truck, but always wanted the gmt 900 body style, an 07 with 91,000. When I went to look at it, it was in like new condition, very well taken care of. It was only $12999. I had to do it

Thats what I want. Also, question man. I was thinking of installing headers, but someone told me it wouldn't make a difference if I was going to do the turbo with meth injection. What do you think?Yeah I completely understand hopefully she serves as well as the last one

Well, it all depends on what you want. From what I understand, headers on the GMT900 don't make a substantial difference with regards to performance because out of the factory the stock exhaust manifolds flow pretty well already so that performance gains aren't that significant when you go to headers with this generation of GMs. Where you will notice the difference is in the sound the exhaust makes. It'll be considerably louder as well as produce more drone within the cabin. Some people are cool with that while others are not so it all depends on what you're looking for. For me, I make the determination on whether or not it's the family hauler or a vehicle that I mainly drive myself to work or wherever. I have made a conscious effort to keep the '07 pretty mild with regard to exhaust because it's what the wife uses to tote our kids around every day so I didn't want it all that loud so I just stuck with the muffler replacement and cut off the resonator and left it at that. If it was MY DD, though, I'd probably go more aggressive and consider the header route only because I enjoy the noise of the exhaust and like my vehicles to have some rumble to themThats what I want. Looks ok. Light bleeds through when on as expected.

Meh.
If I buy a new one, does it have to be programmed by the dealer?
