Decided to mount the heat exchanger with 4x plastic plugs. Worked out pretty good, solid enough for me. Will be mounting the Tru-cool behind it. All the electrical on the motor is hooked up, just need one 45 silicon elbow to finish the intake. Was able to fab up a 4" aluminum intake out of 2X 45 degree bends I had laying around. Should work out perfect and retain the factory air box location.

Had some bad filler rod so I will probably cut this up and redo the weld... Or just paint it black, not sure yet.

Still having my fuel pump to replace.
Having made some progress though.
I finally removed the big hose for fuel refueling and pout a plastic bag on it with a rubber strap or I would be dead for the gas vapor now. :D
I did lower the rear part of the tank and coming form the passenger side did remove the electrical connectors and the fuel lines.
For me, it's a big step. I i not able to remove the tank fully because of the jackstand with is located below the rear door.
I'll have to raise the back of the truck more : i cant push the tank back enough to let it lie down the florr and move it sidely to remove the pump.

Can I use a jack right under the rear diff and put some jackstand on each side of the axle?
