Tuesday i filled the truck up and we (wife and 3 kids with a smaller cooler and few bags so not too much weight), jumped on NYS thruway north for 2.5 hrs to an amusement park, 6hrs there and then 2.5 hrs home with cruise set at 70-73 (troopers every few miles it seemed like) the whole trip there and back and best was 17.8....View attachment 180200
It went to 17.8 right before we got off the thruway...

Yes sir.... every fill em upDid you reset the average MPG gauge when you filled up before the trip? Otherwise, it's including the MPG from all the driving since the last time it was reset.
Where would I find this info?It would be interesting to know what rear end you guys have in your trucks. Mine has a 3:73 so obviously highway mileage suffers at higher speeds.
I reset mine every fill up as well. Not sure how else to get an accurate mpg count besides the dic.Yes sir.... every fill em up
It is in the glove box. My RPO code is GU6 so I have 3.42. I used to have a Tahoe that had 3.08 and that thing was a dog. I had to mash the gas everywhere and gas mileage suffered.Where would I find this info?
