Ok so this is probably a waste of time, but every since I dropped my front license plate down, I haven’t liked the way it looks from the side. I like it from the front better, but from the side it looks like what it is. A license plate hanging on the bottom bracket. So today I mocked up a quick cover to see if I liked it better closed in. Here is the before and after of the peace I am using for test fit.

I like it enough better I think I will proceed with the project.

So the Tahoe came back from the shop yet again with another long list of things wrong with it, all 4 ball joints are bad, radiator is leaking, master cylinder is leaking, front left hub has play, front axle seals are shot, front and rear diff fluids are dirty (rear diff has less than 5k on it) and the oil pan is leaking and that's around a year old. Any suggestions or anyone else have these issues and know how much it might end up costing me or would it better to get rid of it. On a high school budget i cant afford to put thousands in repairs every other month, i love the car but just don't know if i can afford it anymore.

The front ball joints are not a bad job. The upper and lower ball joints, replace the entire upper and lower A arm. Get MOOG. The uppers are about 80 each on rockauto.com.

The radiator you should also be able to tackle your self.

How bad is the oil pan? If it's seeping, let it be.

Front hub for me was about 450 at the dealership.

Master cylinder you could prob do, but you can't bleed the system without being able to override the abs module, from my research.

Front axle seals- chevy quoted me $500. Mine were barley wet, so you may want to check what they mean by "shot".

you can get a decent moog front hub for around $125 on rockauto and what do you mean by front axle seals? they are cv boots which can be had for super cheap.

I’m not sure, the paper I got back said the axle seals and we haven’t gotten prices back yet
