Nice install. I used the same locations for my additional 12v plug and bluetooth. Works like a dang charm. Good idea on the remote wire switch too.

It took me forever to decide what brakes I wanted and now that I have they are on back order. Hopefully the last rotor gets shipped out on Friday. I ended up going with stoptech cryo slotted rotors and hawk hps pads. Now if my wife would stop warping the rotors I'll be good.

I went with ac delco specialty performace rotors f/r. They are suppose to have a unique came design that is suppose to dissipate heat faster. Supposedly it comes oem on the PPV's. I got the slotted for the front and solid for the rear. I went with Hawk super duty pads f/r, so we will see how the braking power increases.

Show of hands... who has a tank that's empty but put a stainless scrubber in there? I did and just want to check on other results.

The cheap one on my mazda protege (I havbe the nice billet Moroso on the Yukon), was empty in the inside. I took some 00 wool to keep from sloshing and ran the In tube to the bottom, about a 1/2 gap. It was only $12, so I didnt expect much.

I got the same setup in November, except I got Hawk LTS pads.

Everyone was backordered, but I found one rotor on Amazon and the other at an auto parts website (Autoplicity?).

Mine got some slight warpage in under 1,000 miles with over 700 of those being on I-10 going to Florida where the brakes were barely used. I hope you have better luck.

I hope I have better luck as well. In a little over a month we will be heading to Florida as well. But down 95.

Sounds like the same thing I did. One through Amazon and the other through autoplicity, but the communication with them is horrible. It has been two weeks and they still have not shipped my rotor.

Took the 24's off today. I couldn't deal with the way it rode, especially with a 30 profile.

I am now on a set of OEM Polished 2006 Silverado SS Wheels with 275/45/20 Pirelli Scorpion Verde A/S Plus.

I'm actually really satisfied with how it looks and will post pics soon as I have the one cap that broke during installation fixed and they need to be cleaned up a bit first :)
